Paris Prekas

He was born in Athens, on March 20, 1926. [3] His origin was from Santorini.
From 1948-1952 he studied at the School of Fine Arts (ASKT). He studied alongside important representatives of the artistic movement of the Munich School (or otherwise of academic realism) such as Dimitrios Biskinis and Andreas Georgiadis. His teacher was also Professor Umbertos Argyros, of the Impressionist school. In the diploma examinations of ASKT, in 1952, he received an award for his work entitled “Portrait”, oil on canvas 80×60 cm.
In 1963, he continued his studies in Paris with a scholarship from the French government.He died in Athens on November 1, 1999, at the age of 73.
